What Are the Rules for News Trading?

Atmos restricts trading during high-impact economic news events to ensure fair execution and prevent excessive risk.


⚑ TL;DR

You cannot open or close trades within Β±2 minutes of high-impact news releases. Holding trades through news is allowed unless otherwise specified.


πŸ“Š News Trading Policy

  • 🚫 No opening new positions within 2 minutes before or after major news events.

  • 🚫 No closing positions specifically to profit from slippage/gap within that window.

  • βœ… Holding an existing trade through the news is permitted (at your own risk).

  • NFP (Non-Farm Payrolls) release at 14:30 GMT

  • Forbidden trading window: 14:28 β†’ 14:32 GMT

  • βœ… If you opened a trade at 12:00 and hold through the news β†’ allowed.

  • ❌ If a position triggers an opening, closing, pending order, TP/SL at 14:29 β†’ breach.
